MY Phonecam Pictures..........

Phonecam pictures ..................that tells a thousand words!!

When you have a phonecam with a large memory stick you tend to take whatever aim at whatever you see at the very spurr of the moment.

Some shots should be hidden deep in the closet , what the heck!! .......its the time of the month to let the monsters out right?!!

Time of the month the "Hungry" ones are out to play..this temple is just across my office.

I didn't stay long enough to watch the entertainment that is coming up..heard a liveband playing ....ain't don't sound like the Cranberries !!!

Yump...where do you get a nice Rm320 sharkfin's soup in town that is really good ?

The place is Shanghai Restuarant at Lok Thian..the only shanghai food in town !!

On the entrance's stairways you will find this amazing picture ...must be one of the famous street in Shanghai.

This a one hell big fish and its a 5kg Garoupa.

The newly reconstructed Sarawak Club that was burned down last year has been completed. All thanks to the insurer of the club for footing all of the bills and no thanks now that all the members gonna start paying for the hefty premiums........

Main Lobby section still maintained a certain dispositioned of the past ...a colonial-look.

The infamous Horn Restuarant where it was famous for its "Butter Prawn" dish and when I said "was" ....I hope it still is !!

The only drinkhole-joint thats left and this is where I had my lunch.

From the outer terrace of the bar is the swiiming pool and it still remains the same ...no change the water is still blue...keke!!

Inside view of the Badger bar ...almost all woodbased construction and I figured if there is another fire again , I know where its gonna start from........(touch wood!!)

Now this is a different swimming pool .....its located at Level 8 Merderka Palace.

This where I spent my leisure time working-out at the gym , swimming and lying on the sun-deck chairs.......

Facing the pool would be the hotel rooms and service apartments .

Panoramic view of the Kuching City South.

The Central market which used to be the main burstling area during the 80's.

Panoramic view of the Kuching City North which is the gateway to PJ and Santubong.

Ahhh...nice and hot at the sauna room where you can let your foot loose but not your pants ..its unisex!!

EEEhaa !!!....this was last sundaynight at Havana and she asked me to take a photo . So did i get to whooop her cowgirl's ass in return.....keke!!

Havana ....a nice quiet place to relax when you don't want the world to be near you.........

Noticed the chick with the shoulder length hair (second from right).....I took this picture on the 1st of August........

I took this picture three days ago......how in the world did her hair got so long? Is my phonecam playing tricks or.............eeerkks man!!! I won't dare say but it scarces the weeds out of me!!

Now what you see is what you get......this is no dude taking a shower ! When I was disc joking ,I decided to increase the beat tempo ......I have this dude rocking half-naked on the table topped.

William (regular customer) somewhat dazed over the dance mania that had erupted.

Guess he must have figured.......now why did I not have this in my younger days ,instead of feet tapping and ballroom dancing huh?

I said I had some pictures I should hide in the closet .....this are some of them and the rest I shall keep it to myself...... heheh!!!

Now to end this week in pictures we have KENNY's one month old BABE............

Her name is Evy ...isn't she cute? One of the next generation pillars of hope and strength for all mankind.....im sure Kenny im sure!!!

Menara MAA on Fire!!!

At around 10.05 this morning , I was at my desk looking through my emails when suddenly the fire alarm sounded . My office is situated on the 8th Floor , the same floor the fire was believed to be spotted . All my work screeched to a halt , me and the rest of my colleagues started to embarked quickly down the stairways.

On the way down we were met with other floor tenants whom were also making scrupulous efforts scaling down the stairs to get to safety zone.

5 mins into the triggering of the fire alarm the first fire engine from their base nearby arrived and all of the firefigthers spring into action.

Second to arrive was another brigade of SAR (search and rescue) firemen whom quickly take charge of recovering any fallen victims left behind in the building.

It was learned that 3 victims are trapped or fallen behind somewhere in the building . SAR team begins entering the building to do a floor by floor sweep of the missing victims.

The fire supervisors, floor marshals , medics and securities has handed over all operations and control to the arrived fire fighting brigade .

Last fire engine to arrive ...seen here is the 30 meters sky ladder detaching from the vehicle.

Seen here are 2 brave firemen ready to be winched up to put out the fire on the top floor of the building.

Sky is the Limit.....the sky ladder strecthed out to it full length and that is about 12 storeys.

The fire has been contained within 30 minutes and the victims were reportedly been recovered.

The building's MEDIC teams attend to the injured victims while awaiting the arrival of the paramedics .

The injured victims are quickly been evacuated into the ambulance .

This maybe a fire drill but appreciation goes to the true unsung heroes or should I named them as the true "Ladder 49" of the country. They are the men who put on their uniforms everyday not as a job but to put themselves in the line of fire or disaster, encountering the people who are having the worst possible day of their lives. Yet they stand together as a team ...to find strength not weakness so that to give hope , faith not fear, courage and compassion to save the countless properties and especially the helpless lives when called upon every single day..................Salute!!!

Gunung Santubong

I took a leasure drive to Santubong was purely to see how is the new Damai Lagoon which under construction getting along (did not get close enough..about to be chase off by the security guard)and my friends whom tagged along wanted to have ice creams at Holiday Inn Damai.........one ended up having a hamburger instead!!

The journey was suiting as the weather was cloudy, makes a 35km drive naturally comfortable .

A Bridge over the River Santubong which has no affilialtion with "A Bridge over River Kwai".

This is the Santubong bridge ,the only bridge commuting to and from Kuching and Santubong.

Nice shady trees along the way and much of the land area are surrounded by kampungs. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Kampung)

Gunung Santuboung , the peak of the scenery around are filled with myths and legends and one of the infamous chilling tales is about a beautiful princess that lived in the mountain. Looking at the picture ,does it not resembles a woman lying down?..........

Good news is that the state has alocated to built a gondola cable car (35Mil) spanning from the footmouth right up to the top which would be the 3rd overhead cable car in the country after Genting and Langkawi. The project is bound for completion in 2 years(2009). I believe it would be of a spectacular view once it is completed.

Main entrance of the famous Sarawak Cultural Village where the Rainforest Festival is held every July of th year. Ref :http://www.rainforestmusic-borneo.com/

Holiday Inn Damai prestigious hill-top rooms overlooking the South China Sea.

Main Lobby entrance that leads to the ice creams and beautiful girls lying on the pool.

There you go , sitting at the Satang Bar facing the pool and further end is the beach of paradise. It has been almost 18 months since I step foot to Damai ...I had a glass of ice lemon tea , my friends had ice-cream and hamburger ...awkward it may seems but on the contrary we had good conversations and laughter over the enchanting moments we had in Damai long time ago..........deja vu!!!
